Biography
Delegate Nancy Stocksdale was born in Owings Mills, Maryland and attended
Franklin High School in Reisterstown. She graduated from Western
Maryland College and was a teacher in Baltimore County public schools for
34 years. She resides in Westminster, MD and has five children, one
foster son and eleven grandchildren.
Political Experience
Nancy has served as President of the
Carroll County Republican Club (3 terms) and as Chair of the Carroll
County Republican Central Committee from 1991-92 (she was a member from
1990-94). She is currently a member of the Maryland Federation
of Republican Women and served as an Alternate Delegate to the Republican
Party National Convention in 1992.
